Our red wine cask release is an annual release inspired by the finishing of our mature spirit in red wine casks. For this our first release we have taken our whisky matured in 1st-fill Bourbon barrels, then finished in carefully selected Grenache casks. The result is a bright, fruit-forward whisky bursting with summer berries, strawberry shortcake, and sweet vanilla, finishing with spiced biscuits and rich oak. This first edition sets the tone for a vibrant and evolving series of red wine cask finishes.
