Triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskey matured in Spanish sherry butts.It is the influence of these casks that give this expression of Writers’ Tears its signature rich, ruby hue and hence the moniker – ‘Red Head’. Nutty Oloroso, spicy raisins, creamy oak and a long, complex finish with a flourish of orange. The expression is distilled without chill filtering as nature intended.

Cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg combined with orchard fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. Aged in former American oak barrels for lots of that classic soft vanilla and fruitiness.

Irish single malt and grain whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in a combination of virgin American oak; and ex-red wine Bordeaux casks. Non chill filtered. On the nose we have soft spices, vanilla, fresh cut grass, slightly perfumed, ripe apple/pear notes. Fresh leather tones. A long finish with cooking spices, lingering vanilla, warm spices – cubeb pepper and ginger. Fresh cut grass, hazelnut and almond notes.

A premium Irish single malt with a 9 year old Irish grain finished in Port Casks from the Douro Valley. Wonderfully balanced with fresh, sweet apples, ripe peaches and vanilla, creamy with a hint of wood character in the background all on the nose. A long finish with hints of chocolate and a fruitiness with cherries, raisins and soft spices, some chilli and cardamom.

A premium 9yr Irish grain whiskey finished in exceptional Bordeaux wine casks. Toasted Oak & sweet red berries on the nose. Full bodied, non chill filtered with fruity flavours of strawberries, honey, vanilla and wood spice. A creamy long finish with cracked black pepper and wood spices.
