Master Distiller Robert Fleming, carefully chose the very best sherry butts from the ancient dunnage warehouses at Glencadam to create Reserva Andalucia. Once married together with bourbon casks, it was finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Andalucia.
The result is a rich and sherry-forward expression, where the famous fruitiness of the Glencadam spirit is balanced with sultana and sweet-spice notes, that come from the Oloroso cask maturation. Initial aromas of ripe soft fruits, soft nougat and oaky vanilla with a background of freshly made fudge on the nose followed by a smooth and creamy palate with sultanas, orchard fruits and toffee apple sweetness. Long lasting and silky smooth finish with honey, muscovado sugar and green tea lingering on the tongue.
