Johnny Drum is made at Willett Distillery, located on the outskirts of Bardstown, Kentucky, founded in 1936 by Thompson Willett, a former distiller at the Moore, Willett and Frenke Distillery. Thompson Willett decided to establish his own distillery during the midst of the Great Depression, with a focus on producing high-quality bourbon.
