An exceptional release from indie bottlers Murray McDavid finished in the double stout casks from local brewery Moor, in Bristol. Full cask strength, just as nature intended. This whisky has spent most of its life in a first will bourbon hogshead before finishing in a rich and intense stout cask. The creamy malt character from the stout cask mingles happily with the classic earthen smoke notes of Ardmore's whisky. Think BBQ sauce, citrus, flint and soft dried fruits with a wonderful peaty overtone. Really well balanced.
