This is the first entry in Bruichladdich’s cask exploration series to be made with 100% Islay barley all grown on farms near the distillery on Islay.Three parcels of barrels at a hefty 40PPM culminate in mellow honey, gorse and heathery notes.

Parcel 1 - Sherry Butts recasked into 1st fill sauternes casks
Parcel 2 – 2nd fill American whisky barrels recasked into 2nd fill Sauternes cask
Parcel 3 – A combination of 1st and 2nd fill American whisky barrels matured in 1st fill Sauternes casks. 100% Islay Barley
