The Plantation Single Cask Guyana 14 years old 2007 Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey Cask Finish is a Guyana rum from Demerara Distillers Ltd. Pot still distilled from molasses in 2007 and matured for 13 years in bourbon casks in Guyana and aged for another year in Ferrand cognac casks in France followed by another 7 months in a Teeling whiskey cask. On the nose it is rich, woody and spicy on cloves, cinnamon and pepper with tar and smoky molasses with roasted chestnut, berries and thyme honey.On the palate Round and fruitier with orange, peach and plum with maple syrup and leather.
