First unveiled in 1997, more than 25 years ago, Ardbeg 17 Years Old was among the first expressions to emerge from the Distillery following its reopening. Aromas of coastal balm and medicinal notes give way to an irresistible minerality, before unfurling into waves of sweet smoke and malted barley. Its peaty character is unmistakable, enriched with hints of tar and oak.
