The annual release Midgie is back with a vengeance!  Bottled at 48% ABV, this third batch combines 34% ex-bourbon barrels, 49% Ruby Port barriques, and 17% Tawny port casks, split into roughly 70% unpeated and 30% peated spirit. Complex aromas of raspberries, violet and citrus meet with a meaty smokiness. This leads to notes of red and dark fruits, hints of cigar smoke and peppercorn spice, with an undercurrent of peat smoke.
