This Octomore Single Cask is matured and bottled exclusively on Islay and hand selected by Master Blender Adam Hannett. The barley varietal, cask type , ABV, PPM and vintage, are specific to each cask, meaning this limited bottling cannot be repeated.

9-year-old 1st fill bourbon cask of 228btls peated at 137.3PPM.

A pale gold dram, with immediate nose of peated and burnt heather which softens to reveal barley flour leading into delicate floral notes of geranium, rose and honeysuckle. A luxurious and viscous mouthfeel introduces vanilla, tablet, fudge, custard, marzipan and toffee- beautifully balanced robust oak and a touch of leather. Further layers of coconut, tropical and stone fruits emerge, complemented by a gentle warmth from cinnamon, aniseed and nutmeg. A long finish where distinctive peat and burnt heather, linger.  Exclusive to the UK and specialist Bruichladdich retailers, like us, here in Bath.
