Batting way above its ABV this is an excellent single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery and bottled by Ian Macleod. It serves as a great introduction to the region, capturing the robust and smokey characteristics Islay is known for. Heaps of charcoal, peat, salted caramel, salt, lemon and sherry.
