A wonderful lightly peated highland single malt from an unnamed distillery. At 48.5% it delivers! A beautiful peated spirit, gently aged for 18 years inrefill wood notes of charred hazelnuts, dusty peat, burnt sage, rosemary, oily fishing ropes, tar and creels. crushed seashells and heather smoke.
Very powerful with sharp citrus, heather honey, stewed apples, minerality - salt and wet slate. some smoked ham, anchovies and capers in brine. malty, salty and moreish.
