This 36-year-old whisky, distilled at the Strathclyde distillery in glasgow is a stunning example of old grain whiskies. Drifting almost towards a cuban rum this has notes of charred banana bread and vanilla pods mingle with Linzer cookies. Gentle waves of citrus and orchard fruit, alongside Gewürztraminer wine.

Rich notes of plum syrup and crème de pêche unfold alongside hints of herbal tea and camphor. A touch of sawdust and toasted coconut chips follows, followed by Golden Grahams cereal
