Whereas previously the bulk of Black Bottle’s flavour profile came as a result of its heavy reliance on Islay malts, the recent return to a more old school approach has removed much of the resulting peatiness. Wonderfully fruity with hints of spice and candied ginger  followed by a subtile coastal smoke.
