Situated in the Friuli DOC Aquileia appellation in the northeastern corner of Italy, this 100% merlot shows a wonderful balance between the fruit and the oak. On the nose this intensely fruity with hints of small red fruits, strawberries and ripe blackcurrants. Soft, rounded and with good persistence, it has hints of spice, elegant tannins and offers pleasant velvety sensations on the palate.
