This single cask Auchentoshan 13yr of 266btls is finished in a prestigious Côte-Rôtie Red Wine Cask, imparting elegant oak structure and luxurious red fruit character. The nose opens with ripe raspberries and redcurrants, softening into creamy toffee, milk chocolate and a hint of cinnamon spice. The palate delivers almond pastry, cherry compote and honey’d Malt, balanced by toasted oak and baking spice, before a long finish of raspberry coulis, strawberry jam and sweet vanilla.
