While we cant tell you what this distillery this hails from its a distillery that occasionally makes peated spirit near inverness along, what looks surprising like the A9 on that label.. The Oloroso cask is doing some great work here. On the nose, burnt caramel, lime oils, bread and butter pudding, dark chocolate crunchie, a recently smothered bonfire.

Followed up by fruit cake, dried papaya, charcoal, pipe tobacco & winter spice, soft tannins (black tea) and earthy peat on the finish.
