A single octave cask of 92btls. A stunning Braeval, previously known as braes of Glenlivet, finished for 7 months in an ex red wine octave that previously held a peated Bladnoch. Red berries and juicy orchard fruits evolve into redcurrants, cranberry and pink peppercorn. The octave adds subtle tannins and structure rather than dominating, allowing the distillery’s elegant Speyside character to remain front and centre.
