A single cask of 262btls. Built by Chivas Brothers in 2014 on the former site of the demolished Imperial Distillery, Dalmunach is a modern Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Carron, Scotland. finished in a firt fill PX sherry cask for 27 months this 2017 distillate is full of rich red wine poched pears with slight tannins at the end. With water the softer red fruits become much more prominent on the nose along with vanilla and strawberry filled swiss roll. The reduced taste is similar as before; lovely fruitiness with a long lingering finish with gentle spices, like cinnamon and cloves.
