Schneider Weisse's Aventinus is probably the world's best-known Eisbock - a style of beer made by freezing it during production allowing the water to be removed for a higher strength and more intense flavour. Spicy flavours of plum, banana and clove combine with hints of bitter almond and marzipan. This is an excellent match for crepes, dark chocolate, Tiramisu or even fully ripe parmesan cheese.
